THE Grand Finals of the three Geelong Region Junior Girls’ divisions was fought out in wild and windy conditions on Saturday at Myers Reserve, with Bell Park, North Geelong and Lara United prevailing in their respective Grand Finals.

The top two teams in the Girls’ U12 competition battled it out in the season finale with the Bell Park Blue Belles taking out the U12 Girls’ Grand Final winners’ pennant after defeating the Drysdale Diamonds 2-0.

Both teams had extremely successful seasons as Bell Park went unbeaten throughout the season while Drysdale was only beaten twice.

In the Girls’ U14 Grand Final, the North Geelong Warriors narrowly defeated Bell Park 3-2 in an absolute thriller.

The Warriors had a very successful year and finished top of the table in the competition and had lost just one game for the entire season.

Bell Park also had a good year after only losing four games over the 18 round season.

Finally, in the Girls’ U16 competition, Lara United took out the Grand Final for the second year in a row after defeating Barwon 3-0.

Lara yet again had an excellent season, finishing on top of the U16 league after losing just one game for the season.
